Welcome to The Leadin’ Lady Foundation.
When I started this foundation, I knew I wanted to create the kind of space that I believe so many women need—a place where you don’t have to pretend that everything is okay before you can walk through the door.
As women, we carry a lot. We take care of our families, show up for our communities, go to work, build businesses, raise children, support other people and somehow still try to find time to take care of ourselves. Sometimes, in the middle of doing all of that, we forget to ask a very important question: How am I doing?
That question is part of the reason The Leadin’ Lady Foundation exists.
Our motto, “Our Minds Matter,” isn’t just something we put on our logo. It represents what I want women and girls to understand when they come in contact with this organization. Your emotional well-being matters. Your goals matter. Your confidence matters. Your future matters. And you deserve support while you’re figuring it all out.
I also know that becoming a “Leadin’ Lady” doesn’t mean having a perfect life. It doesn’t mean you never struggle, never make mistakes or always have the answers. To me, it means continuing to grow. It means learning who you are, finding your voice, getting back up when life knocks you down, and eventually being able to reach back and help another woman do the same.
That is the community I want us to build here.
Through our programs, events, mentorship, mental-health awareness initiatives and community partnerships, I want The Leadin’ Lady Foundation to be a place where women and girls can find real resources, real relationships and real opportunities.
And we're just getting started.
My hope is that when you leave this website—or one of our programs, events or conversations—you leave with something you didn't have when you came. Maybe it's information. Maybe it's a connection. Maybe it's an opportunity. Or maybe it's simply the reminder that you still have something worth fighting for, building toward and believing in.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about The Leadin’ Lady Foundation. Whether you came here looking for support, looking for a way to give back, or simply wanting to know more about what we're building, I'm glad you're here.
There is room for you in this community.
With love and purpose,
